The Learning Trust Announces New Relationship with The Boeing Company
Irvine, California - March 21, 2003 - The Learning Trust announced The Boeing Company has selected their firm to provide software and services to create a centralized database for Boeing's technology roadmaps.
Two The Learning Trust products, Geneva Vision Strategist and Vision Synergy, will make up the core technology platform in the deployment phase of the project. Geneva Vision Strategist is a strategic planning database that Boeing will use as a platform for effective collaboration across organizations. It assists individuals at all levels of an organization with the task of creating, managing, and viewing cross-functional strategic roadmaps. Vision Synergy, a companion product, will provide Boeing planners with advanced interviewing capabilities to automatically create accurate roadmaps from unstructured knowledge provided by employees, customers and suppliers. The Learning Trust will also facilitate technology roadmapping workshops at various Boeing locations. This project will assist Boeing in more effective technology development planning, improving the way they design, build and support their products, as well as improving their financial results.
"The Boeing Company is an excellent partner to The Learning Trust. Their deep experience in technology roadmapping will certainly provide us new ideas to include in our products. At the same time, I believe our software will improve the planning process at Boeing as it relates to technology roadmaps," said The Learning Trust CEO Carl Dietz.
