White Paper on Enterprise Innovation Management Published by The Learning Trust
IRVINE, Calif. - April 22, 2002 - The Learning Trust published a White Paper today titled "The Case for Enterprise Innovation Management Software". The new document explores the history of using software for innovation planning and collaboration as well as how organizations use desktop software to address their need for an innovation management software solution. The paper argues in favor of database enabled enterprise innovation management software solutions, claiming that such solutions are inevitable for organizations that wish to remain competitive in a time of increasingly fast paced innovation.
The White Paper also describes how technology roadmapping differs from other kinds of innovation management techniques. The conclusion the paper reaches is that an enterprise innovation framework is required for any innovation management software solution to be successful. The White Paper offers the The Learning Trust's IM-4 methodology as an effective deployment approach for both an enterprise innovation framework and the creation of an enterprise innovation practice.
The White Paper was developed for release at The Learning Trusts April 25-26 workshop titled "Innovation Roadmapping, The Practice and the Methods, in Las Vegas Nevada. After the conference, The Learning Trust will distribute the document as a service to individuals who are interested in learning more about technology roadmapping and innovation management software.
