Vanderbilt University to Use The Learning Trust Software in Management of Technology Course

Irvine, California - October 6, 2003 - The Learning Trust, a leading enterprise software firm specializing in strategic planning software solutions, announced that its Geneva Vision Strategist roadmapping software will be used in an Introduction to Management of Technology (MOT) course taught by Professor John A Bers of Vanderbilt University.

Professor Bers' course focuses on assessing the issues facing the Chief Technology Officers (CTO) of modern corporations, including technological capabilities and opportunities. Geneva Vision Strategist will be used to teach these future CTO's how best to track environmental trends, anticipate technological possibilities and create effective new products to meet market demands.

"We feel Professor Bers is doing much to prepare his students for the reality of technology management in this day and age," said Carl Dietz, Chief Executive Officer of The Learning Trust. "The ability of technology roadmapping to raise their strategic thinking to another level will help better equip them for the rapidly evolving world of technological advancement. We are eager to work with Professor Bers and his students and excited by the opportunity to take such an integral role in future curricula."
