The Learning Trust Announces Formation of Strategic Roadmapping Advisory Board
Irvine, California - October 14, 2003 - The Learning Trust, a leading enterprise software firm specializing in innovation management automation software solutions, announced that it has formed a Strategic Roadmapping Advisory Board. The Board, made up of some of the world's leading roadmapping experts, will work to further the adoption of strategic roadmapping in organizations and encourage roadmapping best practices.
The nine-person Advisory Board is composed of senior representatives from corporate and academic entities. It will meet twice yearly, and focus its efforts on promoting the integration of vision management and strategic roadmapping into strategic forecasting. To assist with developing and maintaining interest in the practice of strategic roadmapping, the board will focus on six main initiatives:
- Encourage corporations who wish to incorporate roadmapping in their strategic planning processes.
- Promote roadmapping best practices
- Contribute to standard industry roadmapping templates
- Review research on roadmapping taxonomies
- Support the development and maintenance of a roadmapping body of knowledge
- Assist in developing and maintaining interest in the practice of strategic roadmapping
